Anastasia is an incredible doula. I highly recommend her for your journey. Not only is she there for you during labor, she also spends time with you before AND after birth. She answers all your questions, alleviates concerns, explains your options & possible scenarios, has incredible resources, and explains your various choices (some of which I didn’t realize were a choice)! She also becomes one of your advocates in the hospital, outside of your emotional family members, which is huge. I felt very safe & comforted by Anastasia. Don’t think twice about hiring her. Best decision I made!

I was new to town and 38 weeks pregnant. I was introduced to Anastasia and she was a God-send.She is kind, compassionate and a wealth of knowledge. Anastasia has a good working relationship with the doctors and nurses at Cottage. She is very committed to her role as a doula and helping pregnant women. She stayed and played board games with my husband and I while I was being induced, she squeezed my hips during labor and supported us both in countless other ways. Anastasia was a calm comforting presence for the birth of my daughter.

Every woman deserves a Doula" is a phrase that I have heard and it wasn't until I had the privilege to have Anastasia Stone as my Doula that I understood what that meant. Having Anastasia by my side throughout my pregnancy gave me a safe harbor, a beacon of light, a friend, a representative of my child’s & my emotional needs during my pregnancy, birth & postpartum. She was simply incredible. Anastasia was knowledgeable, reliant, compassionate, consistent, kind, funny, soft & strong and very quick on her feet. She was always only a phone call or text away. Her kindness and passion for birth is rare and I felt completely safe and taken care of. Anastasia is also an amazing mediator for couples, which was absolutely invaluable in the delicate circumstances that both my partner & I faced at the time. Our relationship and family grew in depth with love, patience, understanding, compassion, forgiveness & spirit with her presence. Anastasia is also amazingly empathic & intuitive. This simply might be her nature and yet there is a little knowing look in her yes that tells you she is walking a path devoted to service & God. I feel blessed & honored to have had Anastasia by my side in the last year of my life. I recommend her beautiful passion of service to any woman facing birth that wants to feel empowered, natural, walking with a friend by your side while facing the miracle that is birth. We had a 7hour natural birth, to an amazing & healthy baby boy who brings such joy to our lives.

I couldn’t be more thankful to have had Anastasia be a part of my birth team. her encouragement throughout pregnancy came at crucial moments when fears surrounding birth would surface. Her practical knowledge of pregnancy and birth is so helpful and the way she communicates is calming and confidence-instilling.
Her support in labor was completely empowering. Her experience and familiarity with the labor process is tangible and made navigating decisions like when to go to the hospital very clear… I needed someone to make this recommendation for me. She always knew the right thing to say and when to say it. Each encouraging word gave me strength to endure the next step through labor. Additionally, her presence in no way overrode the support of my husband. Instead, she was able to coach him to better support me, enabling us to feel safe and connected. Simply put, I can’t imagine the birth of my daughter without her.
I also immensely appreciated her continued support in the early days postpartum. Breastfeeding was a struggle for me and she was able to direct me to helpful resources.
